The Toyota Motor Company is located in August 1937 by a part of Toyoda Automatic Loom Works, one of the largest textile industries in the world. The Toyoda Automatic Loom Works (suggestive name) was then headed by the King of Japanese investors, Sakichi Toyoda. Founded in 1890, the company had its fate to the invention of its founder: a wooden frame textile, art in the late 19 th century in Japan.

Toyota's engineering history really begins in March 1930. Kiichiro Toyoda, son of Sakichi, started working in the design of a small gasoline engine and in 1936 the Toyoda family announces the imminent construction of the first car model, the sedan named AA. In November of 1938 opens the first factory Toyota Honshu. And 'this is the first in a series of several plants that will form the Toyota City.
