INTRODUCTION

In 1987, Artioli, an Italian entrepreneur, acquired the legendary Bugatti name. The new company built a factory designed by Giampaolo Benedini Campogalliano in a city near Modena, home to other manufacturers De Tomaso, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati. On August 27, 1993, through his holding company, shares of ACBN SA of Luxembourg, Romano Artioli bought the car company from General Motors. The acquisition brought together two of the biggest names in automotive racing history since then, also quotes the International Marketplace.
